Privacy and cookies

This page explains what personal data AI-OS collects, why, and your rights. In short: this site has no contact form, no analytics, and no advertising. I only receive what you choose to send me by email or phone.

Who is responsible

Kostas Chaidemenos, Thessaloniki, Greece, is the controller of your data. That means I decide how to use it. You can reach me at kostas.chaidemenos@ai-os.gr or on +30 690 656 3362.

What I collect and why

When you contact me

If you email or call me, I receive your name, your email address or phone number, and whatever you write or say. I use it to answer you and discuss possible work. My legal basis is that this is needed to respond to your request, and that I have a legitimate interest in running my business. I do not add you to a mailing list, and I do not share your details for marketing. I keep your message until you ask me to delete it.

When you visit the site

Papaki, a hosting company in Greece, hosts this site. Like any web server, it records technical data about each visit, such as your IP address, the page you asked for, and the date and time. I use this only to keep the site working and secure. Papaki keeps these logs for a limited time, under its own retention policy.

I do not use analytics, tracking pixels, advertising, or social media buttons on this site. It has no comment form and no contact form.

Google Fonts

This site uses the Inter and Outfit fonts, loaded from Google Fonts. When a page opens, your browser asks Google’s servers for these fonts. That request goes from your browser to Google, not through me, and Google receives your IP address and basic browser details. Google is a US company and may process this data outside the EU. My legal basis is my legitimate interest in showing the site properly. See Google’s privacy policy.

Cookies and similar technologies

This site does not set cookies for visitors, so there is no cookie banner. WordPress, the software the site runs on, saves one small note in your browser’s session storage to check if your browser can show emoji. It holds no personal data and disappears when you close the tab.

Who else receives your data

  • Papaki, my hosting provider, which keeps the site and its server logs.
  • Papaki, which also handles email sent to my ai-os.gr address.
  • Google (Gmail), where emails sent to my ai-os.gr address are forwarded.
  • Google, for the font request described above.

I do not sell your data.

Your rights

You can ask me to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, limit how I use it, or transfer it to someone else. You can also object to how I use it. Email me and I will reply. If you are not happy with my answer, you can complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority at www.dpa.gr.

Other sites

This page covers AI-OS only. The Cortex II app has its own privacy policy.
